Fiber optics kit including "Double Hole Rubber Bush for Fiber Optics" which is plugged in a fiber cable adapter of Olympus / Sea&Sea system to hold Optical D Cable Type L. Four different lengths from free length 24cm/9.4in [SS] up to 110cm/43.3in [LL] are available to suit to various configurations. |
A system to catch built-in flash light effectively and transmit it to trigger an external strobe reliably. Each set consists of necessary component parts for specific camera/housing including Optical D Cable Type L which is made of ultra-durable fiber optics, light receiving unit which mounts the cable on an underwater housing or Mount Base to transmit the built-in flash light and Clear Photo System etc. Using fiber optics for connecting strobe provides more reliable strobe firing comparing to wireless slave connection especially in bright condition such as just under surface. Maximum two Optical D Cable Type L can be plugged in the light receiving part to support dual strobe configuration only with optional Optical D Cable Type L.

(*1) Compatible "Optical D Cable" product is not available. Use wireless connection.
(*2) "Shoe Base" dedicated Optical D Cable product is not available.
(*3) Clear Photo Films are included in "Optical D Cable/Cap Set" products for Clear Photo System compatible camera system.
(*4) S-TTL Auto works normally while Manual mode can not use more than -1.5 EV. setting and External Auto mode is not usable for the situation where strobe has to make -1.5 EV. or stronger. This is because the Advanced Cancel Circuit has to be set to "OFF" since the FE-360 has 0.25 seconds built-in flash time-lug between [pre-flash] and [main flash] which is beyond Advanced Cancel Circuit compatible range.
(*5) Compatible "Optical D Cable" product varies depending on whether using a Mount Base or not.
(*6) A clear photo film is not included since "Optical D Cable" product or "Mount Base" product blocks built-in flash light.
(*7) A clear photo film is not included since the housing design does not allow the built-in flash light pass through.
(*8) S-TTL Auto is not usable since the camera does not support TTL flash mode. Use Manual or External Auto mode (D-2000 / Z-240).
(*9) S-TTL Auto accuracy gets decrease depending on shooting condition. In such case, use Manual or External Auto mode (D-2000 / Z-240).
(*10) A shade rubber sheet is supplied instead of a clear photo film.
(*11) When installing compatible Optical D Cable Cap Set, Shoe Base is not usable.
(*12) The camera is not compatible with Clear Photo System since the built-in flash automatically rises (Clear Photo System Film does not come with compatible Optical D Cable Type L / Cap Set).
(*13) The S-TTL Auto mode works fine when using aperture range F9-F16 in shooting mode [M(Manual mode)] / [A(Aperture priority mode)].
Except those settings, External Auto mode or Manual mode would be recommended since S-TTL Auto mode may be less accurate.
(*14) When shooting with [S-TTL Auto mode], images will get slightly underxposed in all shooting range. Use flash compensation function of the camera to set flash compensation value between +0.7EV and +1.0EV.
(*15)When shooting with [Manual mode], or [External Auto mode] (D-2000/Z-240), deactivate Advanced Cancel Circuit Swich and set camera's built-in flash to Manual mode.
(*16) As the built-in flash structure is not supported by Clear Photo System film, Clear Photo System film is not included. Attaching supplied Shade Sticker can suppress exposure of the built-in flash light.
(*17) シューベースセットをハウジングに取り付ける場合｡シューベースセットをハウジング以外に取り付ける場合には､“L型光DケーブルSS･セット”/“L型光DケーブルSS”以外の“光Dケーブル類”が対応します｡
