INON Arm System [Connecting Parts]

The Clamp III links and locks ball-joints of Arm Body, Direct Base or Adapter. Its spectacle shape ball-joint receptacles are machined lightweight aluminum alloy to satisfy highly precised and durable requirement. The handle is designed to naturally fit to fingers and made by resin casting to enhance its operability to clamp ball-joints firmly with less power and easy to loosen to adjust relative angle of combined arms.

The Clamp is made of machined lightweight aluminum alloy and weighs only 55g / 1.9oz The thumbscrew type gives easy clamping and unclamping.
Not only allowing 360 degrees free oscillating movement between attached arm system, also gives approx. 80° movement along an extended line of attached arm.

The Direct Base III is a fundamental part to attach on a base or housing to expand your system with a strobe or LED flashlight via arm system.
Directly attached on the "Grip Base D4", "Grip Base M1" or "D Holder" etc. or via optional "M6 Plate Direct Base III" or "M5 Plate Direct Base III" on a housing or other base products.
It is also possible to attach the Direct Base III on the middle of the "Stick Arm" or "Multi Ball Arm" via optional "M6 Joint".
The Direct Base III is attached on a strobe as well. Its ball-joint is made of metal not as like a plastic ball-joint of the "Z Adapter MV" or "YS Adapter MV", to provide rigid strobe positioning only by lightly fasten the "Clamp III".

The "Multi Direct Base II WB" has two ball-joints to have two branches of arm enabling more sophisticated lighting such as using one strobe for a subject and the other strobe for background or using a strobe for still imaging and video light for footage.
Total 10 fixing holes (M6 x 6, M5 x 4) on its base provide flexible compatibility with major brands' housings/grips and attached thoroughly by two cap bolts.

(*2) "Wireless Connection" is not compatible when using this product to attach an external strobe since combined LED flashlight etc. on this product may block installation/free movement of a Mirror Unit (Strobe) which is necessary for "Wireless Connection", where most likely the built-in flash light may not be properly detected. Use "Optical Cable Connection" with compatible optical cable product like "Optical D Cable Type L / Cap Set" to connect between an external strobe and camera's built-in flash.
