On-board "Sutter-linked AUTO OFF" function to benefit to use as a focus light for still images. Flashing detected by a sensor located on the light emitting surface will instantly cease illuminating then back on automatically to prevent exposure of the light on an image. Black out period is only 0.2 seconds. Another flash detection during black out time will extend it about 0.2 seconds.
This "Sutter-linked AUTO OFF" function can be controlled by the "Selector Ring LF" (red circular switch) on the light head to activate/deactivate the function where you can deactivate it to use as a video light not to have intermittent illumination by neighbors' flashing.
Underwater coverage is super wide 100 degree thanks to the optically designed dome lens which effectively widen LED beam without sacrificing native brightness from LED modules. Using optical dome lens provides ideal light distribution for video shooters with its seamless gradation and less spotting on the center.
Simple yet durable rotary switch provides two power settings for various scenes; FULL with maximum intensity 1100 lumen or LOW with 330 lumen for longer burn time and usable on land as well. The rotary switch is equipped with Lock Ring to prevent accidental operation when the product is not in use.(*)

Operated by easily obtainable 3 x AA batteries. Using compatible rechargeable batteries like "eneloop" or "eneloop pro" enables you to share same battery charger with an INON strobe to enhance mobility and minimize your luggage space. The rated practical burn time with "eneloop pro" rechargeable batteries, is approx. 45 minutes at FULL mode or approx. 220 minutes (3hrs 40 min) at LOW mode.

The bundled "Light Shade LF-EW" is attached in front of the light head and equipped with a partial rotatable shade to cut a part of the light to suppress flare/ghost created when the light directly illuminates camera lens or its vicinity.
"Dome Red Filter LF-W" is packaged to change color tone not to stimulate shy marine lives.
Wide range of optional accessories is available to install on a camera or camcorder.
The light head and battery box is made from seawater-resistant aluminum alloy. Simple yet durable construction with double O-ring for moving parts supports depth rating 120m. The independent rotary switch part is equipped with a stopper to prevent accidental flooding due to over loosening.
Gold coating on electrical contacts of the light head and battery box provides maintenance free circumstances under normal usage.
Interchangeable Light Head design enables you to use "LF800-N", "LF1100-W", "LF1000-S" Light Head benefitting for various applications and supports possible upgrade to future model as well.
