Ryo Minemizu

Born in 1970. Originally from Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. After experiencing diving guide and instructor at "Osekan Marine Service" in West Izu Osezaki. in 1997 established "Ryo Minemizu Photo Office" to film the field of the sea both in and outside of the country. Since then, I am working on photographing marine life mainly plankton. In addition to providing photographs and images to numerous children's books and TV programs, the book includes 【Marine Decapod and Stomatopod Crustaceans mainly from Japan】(in Japanese), 【Japanese Marine Fishes 466 / Co-authored】(in Japanese),【Coral reef shrimps of Indo-West Pacific】(in Japanese) both In addition, Bunichisougou publication -Tokyo, 【Underwater shooting technique with digital camera】(in Japanese) Seibundoshinkosha-Tokyo, Books responsible for writing 【Picture book of the most beautiful squid and octopus in the world】(in Japanese) X-Knowledge -Tokyo, and others. In 2015, as a first compilation book of plankton taken over 18 years, 【A Photographiic Guide to the Jellyfishes of Japan】(in Japanese) was published from Heibonsha -Tokyo. Utilizing the ocean experience so far, I have proposals for nature TV programs. Currently, I am holding the Black Water Dive® in domestic and overseas that It can observe various plankton in the field. in 2016, The 5th NIKKEI National Geographic Photo Award 2016 Grand Prix.
