バルセロナ生まれのフリーのフォトジャーナリスト。特に水中、海洋関連分野で活躍しており、作品は洞窟、フリーダイビング、大深度の沈船などのテクニカルダイビングを伴うものから、旅行記事、歴史的なものまで幅広い。ヨーロッパ、アメリカでの定期刊行物でその作品に触れることができる。2006～2008にはもっとも権威ある賞の一つであるBBC Wildlife Photographer of the Yearで表彰を受けている。
Jordi Chias, born in Barcelona, is a freelance photojournalist specialized in underwater and marine themes. His work include extreme sports like cave diving, free diving and deep wrecks, and he is also working on travel articles and natural history subjects. Some of those images are published regularly in books and magazines from Europe and America. He got some mentions in the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year (2006-2008), the most important wildlife photography photo contest.
